The Accounting Detective was created when its founder, Diana Ilina, realized that entrepreneurs and small businesses suffered setbacks when their bookkeeping was not in order. As a fourth-generation accountant, she grew up learning how valuable loyalty and trust are between a financial manager and the client. Her great-grandfather was a managing auditor for electric, oil, and manufacturing plants, and her grandmother was an accountant for a local hospital. As a fourth-generation financial controller, she learned that a commitment to accuracy and due diligence is critical to a successful business structure and the company’s financial growth.
